Pay It Forward Menu
For our families in need, Ta's is offering:

-
Ta's Egg Rolls
-
BBQ Pork
-
Fried Rice with Egg & Shrimp
We will be organizing a Takeout Thursday to support our local Family Owned Restaurants in Milpitas. We encourage, if you can, to support these local businesses in our community.

Here's how you can help us:
-
Help us spread the word through social media and appropriate social distancing communication.
-
If you can, please consider placing a takeout order with them. This is a perfect way to sample the delicious diverse dishes that Milpitas restaurants offers. Then, take a photo of your order at home and post it to #StayStrongMilpitas to show your support and community pride.
-
And, if you can, Pay It Forward, by donating $20 to purchase a meal for families in need in our Community. This time we are donating 10 meals to families in need. Based on the number of donations we get, we will adjust the number of Pay It Forward meals for our next event.
Through a generous donor, all transaction costs will be covered, so that the full donation goes to helping our neediest families.
Community partners
This project is a collaboration between community organizations and we wish to thank them for their support!

Give Blood
“We need people to start turning out in force to give blood.” That urgent call-to-action coming from Peter Marks, M.D., Ph.D., director of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, as fear about the coronavirus is keeping people from wanting to donate blood.

Make Masks
As the updated recommendation is that everyone should wear a mask, you can help make cloth masks. Here is a tutorial on how to make them. You can make some for your family, and then donate any extras. And, please, if you have N95 masks that you can donate, please do so.

For donations to Kaiser, email MIchelle here,
Also, our Milpitas Fire Department (MFD) is looking for cloth masks or N95 masks. To donate, drop them off at:
Fire Station 1, 777 S. Main Street.
And, you can join in JoAnn stores's goal of making and donating 100 million masks.
